FAQs
What does Epidec RTC Primer do?
RTC stands for Rust Tolerant Coat. It is made to go on rusted metal: sand and remove the loose rust particles, then apply one coat of Epidec RTC Primer.
Which topcoat should I use over Epidec RTC Primer?
You can use Acrylic Super Fine, Durothane or Durothane Hues, MetalCoat or MC+, or an Epidec topcoat.
Can Epidec topcoats be used outdoors?
No. Epidec topcoats are recommended for interior application only. For outdoor gates and railings, use Epidec RTC Primer under a topcoat such as MetalCoat, MC+ or Durothane.
How do I mix Epidec?
Mix the base (Part A) thoroughly, then slowly add the hardener (Part B) in the specified ratio. Add the recommended thinner after mixing, and use the mixture within its pot life.
Where can I get Epidec?
Through authorised MRF Paints dealers. Use the MRF Paints dealer locator, or contact MRF for industrial requirements.
