Stain Resistance
Keep your wood furniture looking pristine with stain-resistant finish, protecting against oil, water, ink, and food stains.
- The raw wooden surface to be coated should be clean, dry, free from moisure, dampness and other contaminants.
- For hard wood, sand the surface with sandpaper #80, followed by sandpaper #120, #150, #180 and #220.
- For veneer ply surfaces, start with sandpaper #220.
- Always sand in the direction of the wood grain.
- Mix the base thoroughly prior to application.
- Avoid applying in direct sunlight or when the humidity is very high
- Apply 2 to 3 coats of EEZEEWOOD XT / Interior Sealer clear with an interval of 12 – 16 hours between the subsequent coats. Sanding should be done prior to the application of each coat. sandpaper #220 can be used for the first coat and sandpaper #400 can be used for the second and third coats
- The number of coats of sealer required varies from 2 to 3 depending on the absorption of wood
- Apply 2 coats of either EEZEEWOOD XT / Interior Glossy Clear or Matt Clear depending on the requirement, with an interval of 12 – 16 hours between the subsequent coats. Sanding of the 1st coat of top coat shall be done with #600 or #1000 sandpaper
- MRF Woodstains Interior shades can be used to enhance the colour of the wood grain. The available shades can be used over either the first coat or the second coat of sealer clear sanding of the applied shade is not permitted
- For Interior applications use Woodstains Interior shades only

About EezeeWood XT
EezeeWood XT is MRF Paints’ single-pack (1K) polyurethane clear finish for outdoor wood. There is no hardener to mix, so it is easy to apply by brush or spray, and it gives a clear glossy or matt finish with better UV and weather resistance.
The EezeeWood range is 2-in-1: EezeeWood XT for exterior wood and EezeeWood Interior for indoor wood.

- DIY and small jobs, as it comes in packs from 200 ml

FAQs
Is EezeeWood a one-pack or two-pack finish?
One-pack (1K). Mix the base thoroughly before use; there is no hardener to add.
How do I apply EezeeWood XT?
Make sure the wood is clean, dry and free from moisture. For hardwood, sand with #80, then #120, #150, #180 and #220; for veneer ply, start at #220. Always sand along the grain. Apply 2-3 coats of EezeeWood XT Sealer Clear, 12-16 hours apart, sanding before each coat (#220 first, then #400). Finish with 2 coats of Glossy or Matt Clear, 12-16 hours apart, sanding the first with #600.
Can I apply it with a brush?
Yes, by brush or by conventional spray.
Which thinner should I use?
MRF Thinner 3834: 26-32% for glossy and 27-34% for matt. Using other thinners can cause surface defects.
What is the difference between EezeeWood XT and EezeeWood Interior?
XT is made for outdoor wood, with better UV and weather resistance. EezeeWood Interior is the indoor version.
How long before the wood can be used?
It is touch dry in about 30 minutes, but allow at least 72 hours to hard dry. Apply between 25 and 40 degrees C, with humidity below 75%.
