- Ensure that the surface is clean and free from dampness, dirt and other contamination.
- Sand the surface using #180 Sandpaper and clean thoroughly. Ensure that no loose particles are sticking to the wall.
- For areas severely affected by algae and fungi, ensure that the surface is completely cleaned before initiating the painting process.
- Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. The coating process can be started after a minimum period of 30 days.
- Available in matte and sheen finishes. (Application: Exterior Walls)
For Interior Walls:
- Apply 2 coats of Altura 2-in-1 Acrylic Emulsion with an interval of 4-5 hours between subsequent coats.
- Undulations in the wall can be leveled MRF VILASA Wall putty.
- Putty should be used between the first and second coat of Altura Wall Primer and sanding of the putty shall be done as per recommendation.
- Apply 2 coats Altura 2-in-1 Acrylic Emulsion with an interval of 4-5 hours between subsequent coats, after subjecting the second coat of Altura Wall Primer to sanding using sandpaper #320.
- Sanding of the topcoat can be done with sandpaper #600.
- The number of coats of topcoats depends on the chosen colour. Darker shades may require additional coats.
For Exterior Walls:
- Apply 1-2 coats of Altura 2-in-1 Acrylic Emulsion with an interval of 4-5 hours between subsequent coats.
- Sanding of first and second coat of Altura Wall Primer can be done with sandpaper #320.
Conventional Spray, Nozzle Orifice: 0.059 inches,
