FAQs
Is Durothane a two-pack paint?
Yes. It is an aliphatic two-pack PU, mixed with its hardener before use.
Can Durothane be applied with a brush?
Yes. Durothane is designed for easy brush application, as well as spray.
How much area does one litre of Durothane cover?
About 80-85 sq ft per litre per coat. Leave 8 hours between coats.
Is Durothane good for an iron gate?
Yes. It protects metal against corrosion and UV and keeps its gloss and colour, which suits gates and railings in strong sun. On a rusted gate, sand off loose rust and apply one coat of Epidec RTC (Rust Tolerant Coat) Primer first. See our main gate colour combinations guide for shade ideas.
Where can I buy Durothane?
